Lately I’ve been wanting to get away from more complex pieces, and get back to some basic pencil/pen drawings. This is the first of the lot. For the sake of having a theme name, I’m calling these One Color Goalers. This guy is just some random Montreal tendy, ready to pounce as some slick winger pulls the puck out of a scrum along the boards.

Hey everyone! This is a short notice posting, but I will have some work on display in this weekend’s Poptropolis event. If you’re in the St. Louis area and in search of a fun evening this Saturday (11/11), then come on by and enjoy the festivities. This is the second incarnation of this event and the second time I’ve been a part of it. It was an amazing time last year, and this year promises to be even better. Come enjoy the show and take in the amazing work of 96 local artists!
My initial foray into selling my art online has begun! Please check out my store front on Redbubble.com. I have made a few of my more recent goalie themed works available as stickers, as well a few other products (shirts, mugs, posters, etc.). I ordered a few stickers already and can attest to the quality. They are super durable and have a nice matte finish. I’ve placed them on water bottles and car windows and they have held up great against wear and tear and the elements. I’ll gradually be adding new work here have and should have an Etsy.com storefront available soon too.
Welcome to the Gerald Blog! This is the first entry in what I intend to shape into a repository for sketches, new work, and news related to my art. Posts may be infrequent and random at first as I develop a voice and a rhythm, so please bear with me as I find my blogging legs.
